Coalition Community

• Benefits: Community Member & Allied Organization Benefits PLUS micro-funding opportunities such as Connection Sparks
• Who? Core Member Organizations self-identify with the following:
  • Organizational programming focused on community within a specific geography
  • Organization engages primarily in direct programming (as opposed to primarily funding)
  • Organization is committed to people-, equity-, & creativity-centered values

• Examples: community and economic development organizations that employ artists; neighborhood or issue-based organizations working with artists; arts presenting organizations featuring local artists

• Benefits: Community Member Benefits PLUS Access to the Coalition Discussion Platform & listing on the Coalition Map
• Who?: Allied Organizations are aligned with the Coalition’s core values but are not focused on community of a specific geography and/or do not primarily engage in direct programming
• Examples: funders, intermediaries, national consulting organizations, network organizations, higher education institutions

• Benefits: Stay up-to-date via Coalition newsletter & attend virtual, public Coalition events
• Who?: Coalition Community Members are individuals and organizations that are interested in connecting to this network, but do not fit in the Allied Organization or Core Member tiers.
• Examples: individual consultants, independent artists, businesses learning more, or those outside specific community focus

• Time commitment? Participate as much or little as supportive of your work.
• Fees? Membership is free at all tiers.
• Ideas for content/collaboration? Contact Sara Sawicki at sara@creativechangecoalition.org or or start a conversation in the Coalition’s google discussion platform.

• Purpose: Connect Core Member Organizations with peers locally or across distance
• Process: Non-competitive, complete simple form, 10 organizations receive $2,000 per cycle (2 cycles yearly)
• Requirements: Photo and brief reflection/feedback survey
• Timeline: Rolling submissions, drawing deadlines May & November for July-December or January-June activity
